THE GIRLS BEDROOM
Some of the dolls are old and some new, as they belong to the family.
Note the unusual rectangular toilet, jug and basin set c.1860.
This room, across the hall, has a satin wood half tester bed, dressing table, chest of drawers,
wardrobe, bedside cabinet and music table are also made from satinwood, c.1840. The gilt
mirror over the mantelpiece has an unusual rope design trim, on the mantelpiece is a French
Ormolu clock c.1830, a pair of ruby luster vases c.1870, also a pair of pink satin glass vases
c.1865. On the bed is a crazy patchwork quilt c.1860.
